Job Details

This is a residential position in a long-standing (since 1975) rural Buddhist community. Includes room and board, stipend, and opportunities for Buddhist practices, and classes.

Learn new skills in gardening and farming, live in a community of like-minded people, eat homegrown vegetarian food, help with cooking and food preservation. You work with our head gardener, gaining experience with vegetables and herbs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Passion for the hard and deeply rewarding work of growing food for the community, Strong, able to do manual work for hours each day, and work with small gardening machines and tools. Able to bend over, lift up to 50 lbs., be on your knees.

Sincere interest in Buddhism. Drug free, no cannabis or nicotine.

Individuals and couples are welcome.
