Job Summary

Hours: 27.5 Hours Per Week

Richard Crane is a year-round elementary school. At Richard Crane Elementary we had the unique opportunity of creating a learning environment that utilizes 21st century practices. Our school was purposefully renovated with modern instructional strategies in mind, so classrooms are infused with the technology and offer flexible layouts to ensure maximum student engagement.

Our classrooms foster cooperative learning groups, teaming and individual learning. We also have outdoor educational spaces that support experiential learning.

Comments and Other Information

-Title I paraprofessionals whose duties include instructional support must have:
-High school diploma or the equivalent, and
-Two years of college (48 units), or
-A. A. degree (or higher), or
-Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.
(This is a locally approved assessment. Local educational agencies may develop their own assessment or use an existing assessment so long as it measures the knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. Many districts use the CBEST for this purpose).

Employment is contingent on receipt of work clearances and reference checks.
