This position will design, develop, implement, test, deploy, monitor and maintain the delivery of data in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development and maintenance activities across all technology functions to ensure that we deliver data with high quality for our users, applications, and services and to understand customer needs. The capabilities include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations, and delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop automated data transformation solutions using healthcare data
  • Using healthcare data to achieve administrative needs and goals
  • Understanding data storage and data sharing methods
  • Develop ETL patterns which make the most efficient use of data warehouse hardware resources, in order to deliver timely results to business customers
  • Investigating data to find patterns and trends
  • Understanding healthcare business operations
  • Utilizing different data sources for transformation tasks
  • Converting data into usable information that is easy to understand
  • Understand health care operations and systems
  • Pull and integrate data from disparate sources
  • Knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) frameworks
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data management systems
  • Development Experience in Azure or other cloud-based platform
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving aptitude

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years experience in a data warehouse/data management development role
  • 2+ years experience using SSIS for data warehouse development
  • 1+ years experience in healthcare
  • Experience using a code repository for code version control
  • Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL
  • Hands on knowledge of SQL database operations, performance tuning, script / package building, deployment methodologies and source control tools
  • Knowledge of agile/scrum framework process and tools
Preferred Qualification:
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data management systems
