Position Summary:
The Slot Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all slots related gaming devices and associated equipment. The Slot Technician executes all slot-related projects as needed. The Slot Technician maintains an up-to-date file on all slot machines in/out of service and work completed.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Executes all aspects of machine conversions, relocations, installs, and all slot projects including
signage.
4. Be familiar and compliant with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals and electrical equipment used within the department to follow all safety protocols.
5. Stays in compliance with all Graton, Graton Tribal Gaming, and California Gaming regulations, policies, Internal Controls, and Slot Operating Procedures.
6. Performs routine slot maintenance, including but not limited to working the casino floor and responding to computer generated work orders, reports, and immediate action work orders.
7. Attends regular Slot Technician maintenance meetings and sharing knowledge, work issues, and repair methods with other Team Members and management.
8. Follows all Key and Lock policies.
9. Ability to use all test equipment and support equipment for all components and parts. Perform floor and shop troubleshooting/testing of BVs, printers, Player Tracking, and other parts/components.
10. Responsible for having up-to-date knowledge of slot machines and associated equipment by utilizing manuals and other related product information.
11. Responsible for keeping accurate and up-to-date records of completed work.
12. Be able to communicate with all guests (internal and external) in a friendly, professional, and positive manner.
13. Be aware of and updated on all upcoming events and promotions.
14. Respond to calls from Slot Team Members and provide technical assistance timely.
15. Access parts quickly to minimize slot machine downtime.
16. Submit thorough and accurate Parts Requests.
17. Tag bad parts correctly and place them in the appropriate area.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Minimum of eight months experience as a Slot Technician at a Class Three Casino or a minimum of eight months experience as a Field Technician for a Slot Machine Vendor that supports Class Three Gaming Casinos.
3. Basic knowledge of slot floor layout and slot product.
4. Experience performing slot relocations, installations, and conversions.
5. Experience with diagnosing slot machine malfunctions and making the proper repairs.
6. Must have a valid California Driver's License in good standing.
7. Have basic math skills.
8. Have a working knowledge of typical gaming requirements and internal control policies.
9. Be able to communicate, understand, and read and write in English.
10. Maintain positive and effective working relationships with teammates and guests.
11. Understand and comply with all Company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
12. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Minimum of one year experience as a Slot Technician at a Class Three Casino.
2. Strong knowledge of slot floor layout and slots product.
3. Strong ability to safely perform slot relocations, installations, conversions, and all other slots related projects.
4. Strong ability to diagnose and repair slot machine malfunctions and all slot related components.
