WLP Tech

As a WLP Tech, you will operate and monitor clean room equipment for patterning, cleaning, and processing glass products. You will handle sensitive materials with utmost care to prevent scratches, fingerprints, or defects, while adhering to strict clean room protocols, including wearing protective gear.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor clean room equipment effectively.
• Handle materials with care to avoid defects.
• Follow clean room protocols and wear protective gear.
• Perform computer-based tasks including accessing work instructions, creating reports, and timekeeping using ERP, MES, Lotus Notes, and Excel.
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and shift leads to ensure smooth workflow in a fast-paced job shop environment.

Essential Skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Comfort with wearing protective gear.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Clean room experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn.
• Flexibility with shift schedules.
• Ability to handle chemicals safely (SDS knowledge a plus).

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
