Johnson Service Group is seeking a Calibration Coordinator for our client that specializes in being a metal-based manufacturing partner for medical technology companies. This is contract position at this time but based on performance can move to a full-time position. Day Shift 5:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Payrate range: $24-$29 per hour
About this Opportunity:
The Calibration Coordinator is responsible for all calibration activities within the Quality department.

Responsibilities:
Calibration planning, gage ordering, review of calibration certificates. Coordinate calibration schedules with external calibration vendors. Record keeping which includes software system update with status. May perform calibrations if needed. Engrave and label gages. Discuss calibration principles and procedures with vendors. Assist with incoming inspection of parts and perform measurements using (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.).

Requirements

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years administrative experience. Familiar with performing measurements using Micrometers, Calipers, Gages etc.

Knowledge / Skills

• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Good language skills both written and oral.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment.
• Familiar with reading blueprints and familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001) and metrology
• Physical Requirements
  Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently
