We're Hiring: SAP TM Integration Lead / Data Architect

Location: US – Remote (Travel as Needed)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Integration Lead/Data Architect to drive end-to-end integration architecture and data strategy for SAP Transportation Management (TM) in a complex logistics environment. This role is ideal for a senior SAP professional who enjoys owning architecture decisions, leading data migration strategies, and working across multi-system landscapes.

Responsibilities

Integration Responsibilities:

• Define integration architecture for SAP TM on RISE with SAP using SAP CPI, BTP, PI/PO, APIs, IDocs, and integration suites.

• Map TM integration touchpoints including:

• SD Delivery ? Freight Unit
• EWM ? Transportation Interface
• Carrier Collaboration Platforms
• Freight Settlement ? FI/CO

• Develop integration specifications, mapping documents, and error-handling frameworks.

• Support testing cycles (SIT, E2E, UAT) with interface validation and performance tuning.

Data Architect Responsibilities:

• Define end-to-end data migration strategy for SAP TM objects including FU/FO master data, transportation resources, locations, zones, business partners, and rate tables.
• Lead data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and load processes.
• Design data governance models for logistics data and harmonized transportation master data.
• Collaborate with functional teams to define field mappings, mock loads, and data cutover readiness.
• Manage data quality KPIs and data stewardship processes.

Skills Set to possess:

• Strong knowledge of SAP TM data models and integration architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SAP CPI/BTP, PI/PO, IDocs, SOAP/REST APIs.
• Understanding of S/4HANA master data, partner profiles, and logistics data frameworks.
• Experience in multi-system integration landscapes, cloud connectivity, and security models.
• Strong documentation and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in transportation data migration and complex integration scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12–15+ years of experience in SAP Integration & Data Architecture
• Deep expertise in SAP TM data models and integration architecture

Hands-on experience with:

• SAP CPI / BTP
• PI/PO
• IDocs, SOAP & REST APIs
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA master data and logistics frameworks
• Experience in complex, multi-system, cloud-based SAP landscapes
• Proven success in transportation data migration projects
• Excellent documentation, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
