Help at Home Senior Care Santa Rosa is seeking experienced, reliable, and compassionate caregivers to join our team in providing one-on-one, in-home care for a wonderful client. This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting individuals with advanced dementia and a calm, confident caregiving approach. This client thrives on routine, meaningful engagement, and time spent out in the community. Daily outings are an essential and enjoyable part of his care plan and overall well-being.

About the Client & Care Needs:

• Ambulates independently using a walker and requires standby assistance with walking and transfers
• Benefits greatly from daily outings
• Enjoys fun, enriching activities such as scenic drives, short walks, errands, or community-based activities
• Requires assistance with meal preparation, shower support, and general daily care
• Lives with advanced dementia and may occasionally feel disoriented or overwhelmed, requiring a caregiver who is patient, reassuring, and skilled at redirection
• Daily charting and documentation must be completed accurately and consistently

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with seniors
• Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver's license.
• Proof of auto insurance with your name listed as a driver and a clean driving record.
• Ability to clear background check and drug screening.
• Dependability and integrity.
