Inventory Control Specialist BradyPLUS

Job Summary

BradyPLUS is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient flow of supplies within our warehouse. The role tracks stock, manages records, coordinates with purchasing and operations, and supports overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems, including adjustments and variance tracking.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports (e.g., exception, backorder, virtual bin).
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to address inventory issues and align on priorities.
• Communicate urgent inventory concerns to purchasing and management teams.
• Monitor signs of shrinkage, theft, or tampering; appropriately escalated unresolved issues.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements by maintaining thorough documentation and records.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.

Qualifications

• 1?2 years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred; entry?level candidates welcome.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification preferred; all employees will be certified upon hire.
• Operating pallet jacks, pickers, or scrubbers preferred.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills to operate warehouse management systems, scanners, and data entry.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast?paced environment, meet deadlines, and work overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs and frequently walk, climb, kneel, stoop, and balance.

Compensation & Benefits
