As an In-Store Shopper, you will be an essential member of the Store Support team, preparing Prime Now customer orders for delivery or pickup. You will shop throughout our store for everyday goods, including food and household items. Flexibility is key in this role, especially during our busiest times on Saturday and Sunday. We are particularly looking for team members who are available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Availability Requirements

• Your schedule will be provided up to 3 weeks in advance.
• Shifts typically last between 4-8 hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Use a handheld mobile device to fulfill online orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure product and order accuracy with attention to detail.
• Learn about our products, customer service standards, and store operations eagerness.
• Maintain an organized staging area free of clutter.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and speak basic English.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds, standing or walking for at least 6 hours, and performing physical tasks including pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour work day: Expect to stand/walk for 6-8 hours and sit for 1-4 hours.
• Engage in hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Work involves bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90°F.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Capability to operate tools and equipment, including box cutters and electric pallet jacks.
• May require climbing ladders.

The wage range for this position is $19.00-$25.40 hourly, based on experience. Whole Foods Market offers
