Essential Functions
Executive Leadership
Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team providing leadership and direction for the Credit Union.
Plan, develop, implement, and monitor budgets, plans, policies, procedures, and short- and long-term strategies for areas of responsibility including product and service innovation, project management, corporate real estate, and facilities.
Serve on and/or direct a variety of committees to ensure effective interface of all key areas of responsibility with other areas of the organization and to ensure policies, programs, objectives, and goals are effectively communicated.
Attend and actively participate in Board of Directors meetings, Senior Leadership meetings, ALCO meetings, Board and SLT strategic planning sessions, Human Resource Committee, etc.
Assume an active, positive, and visible leadership role within RCU through regular dialogue with staff and management throughout the organization.
Represent RCU to outside entities, as appropriate, such as examiners, auditors, vendors and support companies.
Participate in and represent Redwood at various internal and community functions and events, and actively serve in community leadership roles in civic, professional association, charitable and other local organizations.
Planning
Develop and implement plans and policies to attain goals and objectives, measure progress, and implement adjustments as appropriate.
Develop and regularly evaluate procedures and programs and ensure effective implementation and communication.
Develop department staffing strategies and implement plans to identify talent within and outside RCU for current and future talent needs.
Continually assess the competitiveness of programs, processes and practices against relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets to ensure use of best practices.
Establish strong synergies and process flow between the various areas to optimize efficient and effective work outcomes.
Review and identify cost effective and efficient utilization of Redwood Credit Union resources.
Play an integral role in the development of annual projects and budget to support strategies, corporate real estate, and facilities.
Program Management
Product & Service Innovation
Continually monitor and assess the competitiveness of all products and services against relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets.
Establish and maintain credibility throughout organization to execute and provide effective leadership over key areas of responsibility.
Identify, validate, and respond to organizational trends impacting the institution.
Project Management
Responsible for overseeing the implementation of project management excellence across the organization.
Ability to coach and provide constructive insight and guidance to the project management team.
Support the execution of best practices within the Project Management Department for achieving business goals and the smooth running of projects undertaken by the team.
Lead and/or support key committees including Project Governance, Strategic Committees, ALCO, etc.
Participate in the development of common project management processes, tools, and governance to be leveraged on corporate projects.
Corporate Real Estate & Facilities
Ensure the effective administration of the corporate real estate portfolio.
Lead the corporate real estate and facilities teams.
Oversee strategies and processes related to real estate leases, facilities renovations, premises management, team member movement and roll-out of corporate programs and initiatives.
Support the relationships between key stakeholders involved in the construction process to ensure coordination, communication and problem resolution amongst contractor, regulatory agencies, vendors, and Redwood occur in a timely, cost-efficient manner for each project.
Other Functions
Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in the community including volunteer centers and non-profit organizations.
Participate in community events, community volunteer boards and associations.
Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in business administration, or closely related field, with a minimum of twelve years' experience in product development and project management, and a minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience.
Compensation: Base starting range: $222,000 to $255,000 annually commensurate with experience. Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills
