Crane Operator

Essel is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads at construction sites and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating cranes, possess excellent communication skills, and prioritize safety in all operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conducting pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and load charts to determine the most effective lifting methods.
• Communicating clearly and effectively with ground crew members using hand signals and two-way radios.
• Monitoring load weights and hydraulic pressure during operations to avoid overload.
• Following all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cranes and equipment as necessary.
• Assisting in training and mentoring junior operators and laborers as needed.

Qualifications include:

• Proven experience as a Crane Operator with at least 3-5 years in the field.
• Valid crane operator certification/license as per local regulations.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operations.
• Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions and job sites.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with lifting and moving materials.
