Design Manager is responsible for developing and executing innovative, functional, and sustainable workplace designs that enhance collaboration, efficiency, and organizational culture. This role leads design management efforts from concept through delivery, ensuring that all workplace projects align with company guidelines, business needs, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design new and renovated workspaces, applying best practices and company design standards.
• Manage space allocation and utilization to optimize real estate use and support collaboration.
• Lead design management for workplace projects, collaborating with project delivery teams and project managers.
• Maintain accurate space and occupancy data within CAFM systems and prepare regular reporting.
• Conduct spatial analysis, diagramming, and visualization to support planning and presentations.
• Develop sustainable and forward-thinking workplace solutions informed by emerging trends and technologies.
• Integrate and analyze data from multiple business systems (e.g., HR, Finance) to inform planning decisions.
• Communicate design concepts and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, facilities planning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in workplace planning, design, programming management, or space management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAFM systems, with experience managing headcount, space planning, and move management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with quantitative data and modeling.
• Knowledge of construction costs, project timelines, and space optimization strategies.
• Experience in change management and sustainable workplace design is preferred.
