Manufacturing Associate (Day Shift)

Location: Novato, CA.

12-Month Assignment

Pay Rate: $28/hr. / $30.80 / $32.20 (Depends on shift)

Open Shifts: SET Schedule/ Room for OT

Day Shift: Sun - Tuesday/Wednesday - 6:00 AM 7:00 PM (3x12/4x12 schedule alternating weekly on Wednesday)

On behalf of our client a pharmaceutical company specialized in developing therapeutics for patients dealing with life threatening rare-genetic diseases. We are seeking for a Manufacturing Associate with hands-on experience in large-scale bioprocess operations, buffer/media preparation, and cGMP-compliant environments. Skilled in cell culture, purification, and formulation processes with a strong foundation in scientific principles and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate large-scale equipment supporting Cell Culture and Purification operations.
  • Prepare buffer and media solutions for production batches.
  • Learn and execute biopharmaceutical manufacturing techniques including tangential flow filtration, chromatography, and formulation.
  • Follow SOPs and document processes in accordance with GDP and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate process issues while contributing to resolution strategies.
  • Support integration of new technologies and practices into established processes.
  • Suggest and assist with procedural improvements and updates.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or engineering
  • OR. Associate's degree in a science-related field or Biotech Certificate with 2+ years' experience in biotech manufacturing or other regulated industries
  • Physically demanding role with frequent bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs.) reaching, stair and ladder use
