Marin Country Club is looking for a Membership Experience Coordinator!
We're looking for a self-starter who thrives on variety, adapts quickly, and enjoys being the "Swiss Army knife" of our operation. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented generalist with strong people skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities while keeping member satisfaction at the forefront.
Position Overview
The Member Experience Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring our members enjoy an exceptional experience at every touchpoint. This is a highly visible, front-facing position that works closely with members and guests, supporting all aspects of Membership, Club events, and recreational activities.
Annual Compensation: $70,500 - $80,000
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional evening, Sunday, or holiday shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Membership Support:
* Lead new member onboarding, tours, and welcome experiences.
* Maintain accurate membership records and databases.
* Support member communications including emails, newsletters, and updates.
* Address member inquiries promptly and professionally.
* Serve as liaison between members and management, analyzing feedback to recommend operational improvements.
* Develop standard operating procedures for member communications and events.
* Event Coordination:
* Coordinate the planning, organizing, and executing of Member events.
* Member Engagement:
* Develop and implement member engagement strategies in collaboration with leadership.
* Serve as a welcoming, knowledgeable point of contact for members and guests.
* Build positive relationships with members through daily interactions.
* Prepare and analyze reports on member engagement and participation trends.
* Proactively seek feedback to improve member satisfaction.
* Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing projects and resolving member-related issues.
* Contribute to annual membership and event planning strategies
* General Administrative Duties:
* Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and internal communications.
* Coordinate cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
* Maintain supplies and organization in member-facing areas.
* Responsible for managing vendor communications and ensuring service quality aligns with club standards.
* May oversee part-time or seasonal event support staff or interns.
* Support the Assistant General Manager/Membership Director on any projects as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
* Previous hospitality, club, or customer service experience preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-both in person and in writing.
* Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software.
