Hospitality Aide (Non Licensed Caregiver)

We are looking for a Hospitality Aide (non-Licensed Caregiver) to join our PM shift to care for residents that need one-on-one care.

Responsibilities include:

• Reporting all accidents/incidents to the charge nurse
• Reporting changes in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse
• Straightening resident closets/drawers and labeling resident belongings
• Maintaining orderly/clean resident rooms and common areas
• Following established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids
• Ensuring that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently
• Answering call bells promptly when applicable and reporting needs to CNA/Nurse
• Transporting residents to and from meals/activities/etc.
• Informing the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse of any changes in the resident's condition
• Assisting residents with eating meals and snacks
• Keeping residents' water pitchers clean and filled with fresh water
• Ensuring the resident's room is ready for receiving the resident
• Inventorying and marking the resident's personal possessions
• Assisting residents with packing their personal possessions when being transferred or discharged
• Performing all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Following work assignments and work schedules
• Cooperating with inter departmental personnel and other facility personnel
• Creating and maintaining a warm, positive, and calm environment

Minimum of High School Diploma Required
