The Opportunity: join our team as a Sr Estimator to provide accurate and detailed estimates on time, forming the foundation for Multifamily Projects.

What You Need For This Position

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field of study
• 10+ years of experience in Estimating, Preconstruction, or equivalent at the GC level (preferably on projects up to 100+ units and experience building in California)
• 5+ years of direct estimating and quantity take-off experience (preferably on ground-up podium and other Type-I builds)
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, MS Project
• Experience with estimating software such as WinEst
• Familiar with conceptual, detailed, and self-perform estimating

Responsibilities

• Provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) budgets and detailed cost proposals
• Obtain subcontractor and vendor quotes, vet and review, and file in company systems
• Use company templates for document creation and draft RFIs during bidding
• Draft detailed scopes of work for budgets/estimates and create Gantt chart schedules
• Manage milestone budgets during preconstruction and coordinate with stakeholders
• Maintain cost histories and pricing data; develop qualifications and assumptions
• Collaborate with construction and development managers; mentor estimators
• Ensure timely delivery of budgets, estimates, and schedules
• Follow company and departmental procedures and maintain project documentation
• Resolve issues and communicate objectives to subcontractors, managers, consultants and clients

Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year
