We are looking for an energetic, creative individual to help take our energy program to the next level. As a key member of the MGA Operations team, your primary responsibility will be to support the MGA in achieving its production goals and optimize operational efficiency across workflows. This includes collaborating with internal teams and external partners, managing a remote support team, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing timely operational support. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations and is open to remote candidates and local talent in the Northern Bay Area.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Process Mapping & Documentation
- Develop and maintain initial drafts of swim lane process layouts for all workflows.
- Create and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure process clarity and consistency.
- Conduct team shadowing to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and BPO partners, ensuring alignment and operational efficiency.
- Manage virtual assistant team activities, including workload coordination and performance review.
- Workflow Performance Analysis
- Review and assess average handling times across workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
- Operational Support
- Serve as a point of contact for daily process-related questions, offering guidance and solutions to internal teams.
- Partner with Client Services to manage audit and billing activities with carrier partners, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the reconciliation of bordereaux data to maintain accurate financial reporting.
- Support team and program(s) to reach production goal(s).
- Special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-6 years of proven experience in MGA or Carrier operations or related field.
- Strong knowledge of process documentation and workflow design tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Experience with package lines of coverage: Auto, General Liability, Property, Inland Marine, Umbrella/Excess, and Workers Compensation.
- Strong personal initiative, ability to work independently.
- Solid computer skills and adaptation to new technologies and workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work in a team.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. The offer will depend on the geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
