Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom tooling using modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or similar.
- Configure and manage integrations between multiple enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and security.
- Work with APIs, webhooks, and structured data formats (e.g., JSON) to facilitate seamless data exchange.
- Implement and maintain observability solutions using tools like Splunk, SignalFX, Datadog, or ELK, and apply best practices for logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Monitor and respond to production alerts, incidents, and service requests to maintain a 99.9% SLA for business‑critical services.
- Manage and coordinate with third‑party software vendors, ensuring proper support and escalation processes are followed.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or systems development roles.
- Proven ability to develop custom tools and automate workflows using scripting or programming languages (Python, Go, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of system integrations, APIs, and data handling.
- Experience with observability tools and practices for maintaining highly available services.
- Demonstrated ability to handle production incidents in complex, distributed environments.
- Experience managing vendor‑supported software systems and coordinating issue resolution.
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying and managing infrastructure using Configuration/Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Packer).
- Familiarity with Salesforce administration and implementing configuration changes.
- Experience developing applications or automation.
