Under supervision of the OPS Manager, the Electrical Engineer/Energy Manager Utilities assists with various duties, such as building prototypes, setting up test equipment, preparing documentation, updating CADD/CAM files, maintaining technical drawings and specifications, and conducting general troubleshooting of systems and equipment.
The Electrical Engineer/Energy Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems and energy programs at Ascension Auxiliary Airfield (AAAF). This includes electrical infrastructure lifecycle management, system condition assessments, energy data monitoring, and development of projects that support mission readiness, cost-efficiency, and environmental compliance. The role blends hands-on engineering expertise with strategic energy management and sustainment planning.
