Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Apply proper serving techniques and etiquette (e.g., serve from the left, clear used dishes between courses).
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork by cooperating with co‑workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with staff, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and families.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including a physical and TB test.
• Compliance with health and safety requirements, which may include vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE per regulatory guidelines.
