Automotive Maintenance and Electrical Specialist

Supervise and perform complex maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles.

• Inspect material handling equipment systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
• Test and evaluate starting and charging systems to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• A U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a valid Social Security number.
• Between 17 and 34 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet specific tattoo guidelines and have no major law violations.
• No medical concerns that would impede job performance.

Training and Certifications:

• 14 weeks of advanced individual training in automotive electrical systems.
• 92 ASVAB score: Mechanical Maintenance (MM).
• OR 87 ASVAB score: Mechanical Maintenance (MM) with an additional certification in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
