Overview: MV Transportation is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher to oversee day-to-day route operations. In this key role, you will work closely with Dispatch Supervisors and engage daily with drivers and clients to ensure efficient service delivery while adhering to established procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and manage client communications and relay information between drivers and Dispatch Supervisors or Dispatch Managers as needed.
  • Monitor operational communication channels, such as radios and telephones, to maintain quality service.
  • Promote a positive work environment and uphold exceptional customer service standards.
  • Track and manage driver sign-in and sign-out processes daily.
  • Assign trips to drivers to balance workload across all routes effectively.
  • Continuously evaluate daily system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the analysis of operational performance metrics.
  • Document late starts or route closures and communicate these occurrences to Dispatch Supervisors or Dispatch Managers appropriately.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of Dispatcher experience is preferred.
  • Two (2) years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience with Trapeze software is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Professionally articulate phone manner is essential.
  • Availability on weekends is a must.
  • Multilingual skills are an asset.
  • Familiarity with the service area is a plus.

Starting pay rate: $27.78 per hour
