Century Group has partnered with a non-profit who is seeking a temp to hire Payroll Accountant. This is a mostly remote position with the occasional meeting in Petaluma. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $34.70 to $42.16 per hour.

Job Description:

• Run bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports needed for labor compliance, tax filings, insurance audits and year end
• Support the Grants and Contracts team in contract onboarding, review, and monthly/quarterly invoicing
• Provide back-up for the AP and expense reimbursement processing, as needed

• Proficiency in HRIS and Timekeeping Systems
• Demonstrated experience evaluating and maintaining strong internal controls
• Knowledge of non-profit accounting

• 4-5 years of Payroll experience
• Excel (advanced skills)
• Attention to detail
