Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Mechanical Calibration Technician to work on-site with our client, a top-tier Fortune 500 electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. The Service Technical Support candidate will support Keysight manufactured test equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts to ensure functionality and accuracy.
- Perform inspection of sub-assemblies or final assemblies of Keysight products.
- Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, and/or diagrams in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.
- Maintains records and/ or databases.
- Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting Keysight technicians and NPI Engineers.
Qualifications:
- GD&T experience is a MUST.
- 4 years of related measurement and inspection experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage.
- Experience using automated software platforms is a plus.
- Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, and demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence.
- Works with clearly defined objectives.
- Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other Keysight resources.
- Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments.
- Adheres to established processes and is responsible for achieving established team goals.
