Description:

BUILDING ARCHITECTURE - for Fast Food, Fueling Stations, C-Stores.

We are seeking a talented and competent Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator to work closely with internal and external project teams. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the production of high-quality drawings and construction documents for commercial/retail and restaurant projects using REVIT.

This position involves assisting the project manager in developing project documents for bidding and construction, gathering essential information such as specifications, program compliance, building codes, agency requirements, schedule commitments, and product research.

The candidate must be able to disseminate information effectively to the project team, communicate regularly with drafting staff and other members during the development of construction documents, and provide support to ensure all project requirements are met in a timely manner.

You will support tasks necessary for the successful completion of projects, coordinate the submission of architectural documents to city agencies, follow through with plan check processes, and resolve residual issues.

A keen eye for detail is essential. Experience in the production of Construction Documents (CDs), coaching and mentoring production staff, and ensuring the quality and detail of drawings are also required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in architecture is preferred, but 7+ years of relevant industry experience is acceptable.
  • Abilities and Skills:
  • Revit experience is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, Smartsheets, and Newforma.
  • Proven ability to function in all project phases from schematic design through contract administration.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of individuals including consultants and contractors.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor staff effectively.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 68 years in project coordination, drafting, and detailing CDs.
  • Commercial retail experience is required; fueling station project experience is a significant plus.
