Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced legal secretary to join our team. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of litigation experience and will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced legal environment. This position supports attorneys with a busy litigation caseload and requires a strong understanding of legal procedures and court rules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, format, proofread, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• Maintain attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings
• Manage and organize case files
• Assist with trial preparation
• Coordinate with courts, clients, and outside counsel

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as legal secretary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal document management systems, and court e-filing systems (e.g., CM/ECF and state court portals)
• Excellent grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
