Minimum experience required: Bachelor/Associate in Engg/CS/IT/Science or equiv. + 2 yrs exp for a junior position. Masters in Engg/CS/IT/Science or equiv. OR Bachelors in Engg/CS/IT/Science or equiv. + 5 years of exp for Sr Position.

Skills: Python, SQL, MySQL, Teradata, Java, C++, Oracle, Informatica PowerCenter, Tableau, Jira, Apache, MS Suite, and AWS.

Job Duties:
As a Data Engineer, the employee will be responsible for the following job duties:

  1. Design and develop secure and scalable database architectures using SQL, MySQL, Teradata, and Oracle.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data between systems and ensure data integrity with Informatica PowerCenter or other ETL tools and SQL scripts.
  3. Optimize database performance with data modeling, advanced indexing, and Python automation.
  4. Manage installation, maintenance, and security of database systems, utilizing AWS and MS Suite tools.
  5. Conduct data analysis, providing actionable insights and visualizations in Tableau and MS Suite.
  6. Work with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions, and track the progress on Jira.
  7. Develop custom database solutions with C++ and Java, integrating complex data systems.
  8. Coordinate database projects, aligning with IT strategy and business goals.
  9. Maintain comprehensive documentation and generate regular performance reports.
