Native American Spiritual Leader job at Correctional Training Facility, Monterey County, CA.
Under the supervision of the Community Resources Manager, C.I., the Native American Spiritual Leader provides spiritual and moral guidance to incarcerated individuals (IPs). Conducts Native American religious services, interviews and counsels IPs on ethical, moral, and spiritual matters, and administers religious and sacred music during services.
Individuals eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If qualifications are met through education, unofficial transcripts or diplomas must be submitted for verification; official transcripts may be required upon appointment. Candidates not meeting the Minimum Qualifications will be removed from consideration and may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board.
New CDCR candidates must undergo background checks via Live Scan fingerprinting and Tuberculosis testing before appointment, with annual testing thereafter.
