Duties

  • Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and prenuptial agreements.
  • Advise clients on property division, including real estate, during divorce proceedings.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to family law cases.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to ensure efficient case progression.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys to strategize and expedite litigation processes.
  • Attend court hearings and effectively advocate for clients' interests.
  • Handle cases involving child abuse, domestic violence, and other sensitive family law matters.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in advocating for clients in family law cases.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in family law, with exposure to real estate-related legal matters.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations.
  • Ability to maintain organized and up-to-date client files.
  • Commitment to providing empathetic and client-focused legal services.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
