As a critical member of our pharmacy team, you will work directly under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. Your contributions will be vital in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize patient safety and adhere to pharmacy professional practice standards.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and engage in quality assurance activities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support effective inventory management.
  • Oversee workflow management excluding final prescription verification.

A key part of this internship is to enhance patient health through the management and promotion of patient care programs. Your responsibilities will also include:

Education and Qualifications:

  • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Possession or pursuit of valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Capability to remain mobile and upright for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform lifting and movements as required for pharmacy duties.
  • Close visual acuity for effective tasks such as transcribing and reading.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Immunization eligibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Once you meet state regulations, providing patient immunizations will be an expected function as pharmacy interns.

Compensation: The pay range for this role is $21.00 - $42.00.
