About Us:

M.A. Silva USA is looking for an experienced Account Manager for their Napa, Sonoma, and Livermore Territories to join their highly motivated and fun sales team whose headquarters are located in Santa Rosa. This is a great opportunity for a top performer to join a successful and dynamic local business.

The responsibilities of the position are many and varied. They include but are not limited to the following core responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new customer opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.

• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries.

• Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts.

• Manage assigned sales territory and maintain CRM and ERP records.

• Communicate product and policy information clearly to clients.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the wine industry and local competition.

• Attend trade events and team sales meetings.

• Submit accurate reports and required client paperwork on time.

• Travel frequently to meet clients, conduct product demos, and manage relationships (minimum 60% field time).

• Track mileage for work-related travel using the MOTUS app.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (1-2 years).

• Established relationships with wine industry decision-makers.

• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and commitment to excellence.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Effective presenter at all organizational levels.

• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams or committees.

• Solid problem-solving and consultative sales skills.

• Strong analytical and math skills (e.g., discounts, commissions, percentages).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.

• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with enthusiasm.

• Willingness and ability to travel, manage a flexible schedule, and use tools like MOTUS for mileage tracking.
