Summary
Oversee the Division (Electrical Connectors) marketing in North America with clear marketing objectives. Designing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness and drive lead generation campaigns. Develop marketing activities that promote our products and service offerings. Working with Division Marketing (Headquarters) and to deliver "best in class" marketing campaigns to engage and activate target audiences and that enable the sales organization to successfully grow revenue throughout the entire Sales Lifecycle.
Objectives of this role
• Collaborate with Division Marketing, local Head of Business, Head of Sales to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new solutions.
• Oversee the marketing department by identifying opportunities that will result in positive ROI.
• Participate in the planning of annual marketing budget, key objectives and results.
• Develop and execute Distributor Marketing plans for General Industry and Renewable Energy sales channels.
• Integrate with sales team to work in unison with marketing outreach and sales follow up activities through our CRM.
• Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop strategies designed to increase the company's market share and maximize revenues in order to thrive and stand out against our competitors.
• Responsible for producing valuable content for the company's online presence, editorial design and contributing to the company's multi-channel marketing opportunities.
• Participating in cross divisional projects that require global strategies and global implications.
• Projects that this role will be involved with to include global digital marketing (marketing automation, Ecommerce, SEO) as well as web interface and web development as an ongoing.
• Monitor progress and create performance reports / dashboards including leads and follow up activities.
• Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor's marketing activities.
• Manage, coach and motivate the local Marketing Team involved throughout the marketing scope (strategic, tactic and operational) for the various activities (Digital and Content marketing, Event management, Business intelligence, Business and marketing tools and processes).
• Interfaces with external parties such as media, stakeholders and continue to build strategic partnerships.
• Develop and maintain Key Customer relationships with peer Marketing roles.
• Attend industry conferences, trade events, and related activities to build and expand Staubli's Brand and Value Propositions.
• Identify areas of improvement for not just our local team, but also on a global level.
• Inspire and support the marketing team to do great work that gets noticed.
Qualifications
• Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords.
• Working knowledge or Eloqua / AEM / AUREA CRM highly recommended.
• Excellent leadership and organizing skills.
• Analytical and creative thinking.
• Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices.
• Customer-oriented approach.
• Must be willing to travel to Europe as needed.
Experience
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant experience.
• 5+ years Marketing experience and/or training.
• Experience in a technical marketing environment with emphasis on digital marketing.
• Experience with various marketing tactics and reporting tools.
