Title: Project Engineer

Location: Sonoma County area

Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 base with 10% annual bonus, LTIP, full relocation, health, PTO

Job Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Power Plant equipment including but not limited to, HRSG's, valves, pumps, piping, exhaust systems, and emissions equipment.
  • Deal with chemical corrosion issues for piping, rotating equipment, and plant auxiliary equipment.
  • Understanding of corrosion mechanisms and mitigation protocols
  • Oversees larger and more highly complex projects or high risk/high visibility projects.
  • Makes recommendations on moderately complex issues regarding project components and tasks.
  • May make recommendations on new processes, tools and services; supports and contributes to development of new products, services or techniques.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope ranging from moderate to complex.
  • Uses independent judgment requiring in-depth analysis of variable factors. Collaborates with senior professionals in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach
  • Serves as project/technical lead on small to medium sized projects; may coordinate work of professionals, technicians and others outside of own department.
  • Advanced knowledge of a wide variety of design Codes, standards, and processes for combined-cycle power plants; prefer project management certification.
  • 4 Year degree required with 5 years of engineering experience and 3+ years of corrosion mitigation experience.
