Staubli Electrical Connectors, Inc. is an internationally recognized manufacturer and distributor of high-end electrical connectors. We are looking for a HR Generalist with strong attention to detail to join our team of over 6,000 employees worldwide, but just under 100 here in Windsor.

Summary

Under general direction of the HR Director, this position has a broad responsibility for a variety of administrative functions that spans Human Resources and Finance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Human Resources:

  • Processes new hire paperwork and terminations.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date electronic employee personnel files within HRIS system.
  • Payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, time prep, etc.
  • Orients newly eligible employees, and processes enrollment forms and change requests.
  • Works with HR Director administering employee benefit programs including but not limited to health insurance, long term disability insurance, life insurance, COBRA, FMLA, and other programs. Responds to employee's benefit questions, resolves problems regarding access to or payment of benefits
  • Assists in oversight and scheduling of temporary staff.
  • Worker's Comp processing
  • Mandatory training administration
  • Participates when needed in the coordination and execution of special events including lunches for on-site trainings and meetings and the annual National Sales Meeting.

Accounting:
  • Processes Expense Reports from Concur, as well as act as Motus administrator.
  • Benefits billing

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
  • Possess extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Be proficient with payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
  • Possess general accounting knowledge of the AR and AP processes.
  • Have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and perform basic mathematical calculations such as ratios, percentages and rates.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
  • Have good communication skills to work effectively with staff and vendors.
  • Be a team player willing to assist where needed and be a self- starter.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills, mid-large sized ERP System (SAP a plus), HRIS Software experience


Education and/or Experience

Associates degree in related field, or HR Certification.

5+ years of related experience.

Experience with Concur preferred.

Salary Range - $75,000 - $90,000/annually
