At SourceAmerica, we are committed to serving as a connector for people with disabilities and veterans. We are currently recruiting talent on behalf of one of our nonprofit agency partners who has a Director of Vocational Rehabilitation Disability Program position.



THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.



WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Must have working knowledge and maintain proficiency with Title 17, DDS, and DOR regulations.
  • Ensure all rehabilitation programs are current and in compliance with, but not limited to, the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Licensing, CARF, Department of Rehabilitation (DR), CMS/HCBS, and SourceAmerica/AbilityOne policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant community members, businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and other appropriate organizations.
  • Responsible for supervision, direction, training, and management of 20-30 employees.
  • Ensures all file documentation is completed accurately and meets regulatory compliance.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Must have vocational rehabilitation experience
  • Strong background in social work, behavioral health, or related field
  • Proven experience in program development and management
  • Excellent administrative skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
  • Proficient in budgeting and resource allocation for program sustainability
  • Exceptional relationship management skills to engage with clients, staff, and stakeholders efficiently
  • Master's (Preferred)
  • Vocational Rehabilitation: 5 years (Required)

Schedule:

  • Days, 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed


ABILITY TO COMMUNTE / RELOCATE:

  • Rohnert Park, CA 94928: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)



TRAVEL:

  • 25% (Preferred)
