Litigation Attorneys, practicing within the state of California. Candidates must have exceptional

interpersonal skills, an excellent academic background, and proven skills in research, analysis, and writing. The candidate must be a self-starter, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment. A commitment to superior client service is essential. Some trial experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including single-plaintiff and class/collective actions involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and trade secrets.
  • Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and court appearances.
  • Handle matters before federal and state courts, administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, CRD, NLRB), and arbitration tribunals.
  • Advise clients on employment law compliance, employee relations, internal investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Draft and review employment agreements, separation agreements, handbooks, and policies.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies and ensure efficient, high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentor clerks, junior attorneys, and support staff, as applicable.
  • Participate in speaking engagements and written submissions for publications.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Current CA Bar membership and admission in good standing.
  • Understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures.
  • 3-5 years of experience practicing labor and employment law, with a strong emphasis on litigation.
  • Experience with class actions and wage & hour law (FLSA, state equivalents) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
