We are seeking Engineers to work collaboratively on a broad range of engineering projects from planning to completion. Positions are available at Associate Civil Engineer and Assistant Engineer levels, depending on licensure.
The Capital Projects Engineering Division handles projects across transportation, utilities, facilities, creek restoration, water and wastewater infrastructure, and more. Funding sources include sewer and water rates, gas taxes, development fees, grants, and federal/state transportation funds.
Applicants must complete a comprehensive supplemental questionnaire. Incomplete or vague responses may lead to disqualification. Additional requirements such as physical exams or drug tests may apply.
Assistant Engineer candidates need an E.I.T. certificate; Associate Civil Engineer candidates must have a California PE license. Both roles require a relevant degree and the ability to operate a vehicle and travel to various sites.
