Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $48.00 to $57.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Accounts Payable team, including hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Oversee all AP functions such as transactional processing, month-end close, and account reconciliations
• Review AP documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
• Resolve complex vendor and payment issues through research and reconciliation
• Implement and maintain AP systems, procedures, and controls in accordance with SOX requirements
  
  

• Demonstrate proficiency in using NetSuite and Corpay for AP operations
• Monitor team productivity and performance using analytical tools and reporting metrics
• Provide leadership for AP-related projects and process improvement initiatives
• Prepare and manage audit documentation and participate in audit walkthroughs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal and external customer needs
  
  

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Bring experience managing a team of AP professionals in a high-volume environment
• Understand internal controls, SOX compliance, and accounting policy implementation
• Communicate effectively with auditors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy
