Hill International is seeking a Training and Development Project Manager in Pomona, California

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 5 + years of project management experience.
  • Utility experience preferred.
  • Skilled in SAP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Projects, and Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred.
  • Organized, good communicator and drives actions to resolve issues immediately.
  • Must be local to Southern California.
  • Must be willing to Travel across service territories, which may reach as much as 50% time during training and hyper-care phases of this project.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.

Responsibilities

  • General Organizational Readiness and Business Readiness support, including but not limited to, scheduling and attending meetings, taking notes, emergent project support, research on best practices and development of recommendations for future state projects and actions, analysis of anticipated change impacts.
  • Field engagement, including but not limited to, recommendations on outreach and outreach approach for end users and field personnel, travel to and direct engagement with end users and field users, development of relationships with key end user stakeholder group.
  • Business Readiness Network (BRN) and Super User network, including support of all meetings, outreach, and engagement; development of relationships with BRN and Super User members; recommendations on outreach activities and engagement; presentations to the BRN and Super User groups; development of trainings and meetings to ensure foundational knowledge and understanding of roles; ongoing tracking and logistics associated with managing two large membership forums.
  • Training design, development, and delivery of 100 unique trainings.
  • Recommendations and input on best practices for end user trainings and engaging field users across a variety of training modalities.
  • Other emergent project support as needed for successful end user engagement across the program.
  • Must be willing to Travel across the service area; may reach as much as 50% time during training and hyper-care phases of this project.
  • Assigned resources will not deliver training solo, they will help deliver trainings with additional personnel.
