Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat.Description The Engineer I is responsible for assisting in the daily maintenance and repair of resort facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure a safe, functional, and inviting environment for guests and staff. This entry-level position supports the Engineering team in preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and responding to service requests across the property.Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and exterior grounds.Respond promptly to guest requests for engineering service or maintenance issues with professionalism and courtesy.Assist in the maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.Monitor and operate life safety systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and pool equipment, under supervision.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Ensure safe work practices and compliance with resort safety protocols and local building codes.Support other departments as needed to maintain guest satisfaction.Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and supply inventory.Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, team members, and management.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training a plus.1+ years of maintenance experience in hospitality, facilities, or similar setting preferred.Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions and safety guidelines.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $22.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
