NETSUITE FINANCE TRANSFORMATION CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the client to understand their business requirements and assess their current accounting processes.
• Help unlock additional utility out of NetSuite.
• Work closely with the client's NetSuite consultant to migrate the data, and then reconcile the data in the new environment to ensure the account balances tie to the original data sources.
• Provide necessary documentation and execution according to SOX and SDLC requirements.
• Gather business reporting requirements from business stakeholders and work with the client's resources to help implement a financial reporting tool on top of ERP.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing and configuring ERP systems, preferably in a publicly traded environment.
• NetSuite specific user or implementation experience required.
• Knowledge around SOX and SDLC requirements to provide necessary documentation and execution approach.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and understanding of the balance sheet and financials preferred.
• Understands how data flows through an accounting system and has experience reconciling and auditing data.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a start-up mode/resource-constrained environment.
• Ability to execute independently with little/periodic guidance from management.
