We're hiring a Head of Machine Learning to lead a cutting-edge ML research & delivery function at a high-growth AI startup. Reporting directly to the Founder, this is a rare opportunity to own the research agenda, build a world-class team, and work with global enterprise clients—all while shaping the future of LLMs and foundation models.

This role sits at the intersection of deep AI research and real-world impact. You'll define the strategy, ship research to production, and represent the company in front of investors and clients.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and lead the ML and research roadmap for foundation models, LLMs, and reinforcement learning pipelines
• Spearhead applied research and experimentation across domains like NLP, CV, RLHF, and fine-tuning
• Lead a high-performance team of ML researchers and engineers

🧠 Ideal Candidate

• Deep expertise in large language models, foundation models, and reinforcement learning
• Proven track record in pre/post-training, RLHF, and scaling model deployment
• Research and/or applied work experience at top-tier AI companies, labs, or unicorns
• Academic pedigree: IIT/NIT or PhD/MS from global elite universities like Stanford, Berkeley, CMU, etc.
• Balanced mindset: scientific rigor + delivery focus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
