About the Role:
We're currently hiring a Program Director for our Day Program in Rohnert Park.
This is not a desk job. It's a lead-from-the-front, hands-on leadership role that requires someone with resilience, presence, and deep experience supporting individuals with significant behavioral needs. The program serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who experience daily behavioral challenges, including verbal and physical aggression, elopement, property destruction, and self-injurious behaviors.
The right candidate has worked in high-intensity environments such as Behavioral Day Programs, Level 4 homes, Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes (EBHS), or crisis facilities. Day program experience is a plus - but what matters most is your ability to support complex behaviors and coach your team with confidence and compassion.
This role requires someone who leads by example. Trust and respect must be earned through action - by being present, supporting staff during challenges, and showing what quality service truly looks like. You'll be the steady, encouraging presence that helps build a culture of accountability, growth, and meaningful support for the individuals we serve.
