We need someone who can lead us into the future by driving upgrades to our backend architecture while at the same time up-leveling our current engineering team's ability to delight our users with new product capabilities.

We're seeking a Lead DevEx Engineer with deep SRE / DevOps expertise to build, maintain, and optimize our engineering infrastructure. You'll build and maintain internal platforms and toolchains, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across both single-tenant and multi-tenant architectures.

What you'll do:

• Architect, automate and maintain cloud infrastructure: Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure systems using convergence frameworks like Terraform, CDK, etc.
• Manage multi-tenant and single-tenant environments: Optimize production operations for complex product configurations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines: Ensure fast, reliable build and release processes, including canary capabilities.
• Incident management and observability: Drive response strategies for critical incidents, implement robust monitoring.
• Champion system resilience and performance: Advocate best practices for fault tolerance, security, and operational excellence.

What you'll need:

• 5+ years of experience as a devex / devops or site reliability engineer operating at scale
• Strong ownership mindset and the ability to autonomously lead
• Deep experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Proven success supporting both multi-tenant and single-tenant architectures
• Expertise with incident management and observability; bonus if experienced with Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, and DataDog
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments at scale
• A track record of delivering fault tolerance, reliability, security, and performance in everything you build
• Strong proficiency in scripting (in any language) and automation
