Position Summary:

The Host is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. This position manages the flow of reservations to maximum guest experience. The Host Person is responsible for answering the phone and booking reservations using Open Table System.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Greet guests at the entrance verbally with a warm welcome.
3. Seat parties evenly throughout open stations, or place parties on a waiting list.
4. Update table status using the Open Table system.
5. Answer telephone within three rings and make reservations using Open Table system.
6. Keep store front clean and stocked.
7. Communicate guest opportunities to management.
8. Perform all pre and post side work, including cleaning all menus.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Must have, or be able to obtain a California Food Handlers Certification.

Physical Requirements:
1. Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
2. Requires the physical ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. Ability to push, stoop, reach above the shoulders, grasp, pull, and bend repeatedly with or without assistance.
