Job Summary: As a Solar Energy Project Manager, you will take charge of planning, executing, and finalizing solar energy projects across the United States. This position calls for a strategic thinker with extensive experience in project management, renewable energy systems, and construction processes to ensure successful project delivery on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed project plans for solar tracker installations within concentrated solar projects, specifying scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Identify potential risks and formulate effective mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
  • Proactively address challenges to guarantee successful project completion.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and exceed quality standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of solar tracking systems to identify improvement opportunities and implement necessary upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training for both customers and internal staff.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to maintain the company's competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of project management experience, specifically in renewable energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of solar tracker systems and construction processes.
  • Proven success in the project management role within a construction firm.
  • Effective management of subcontractors and adept at developing and executing project changes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects to timely and budget-conscious completions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a well-rounded business perspective.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management capabilities and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and Wrike, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to decisively resolve project issues, make decisions, and set priorities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently as needed for project demands.
