Responsibilities
Keysight is looking for a Materials/ Procurement Specialist to join our Services Organization to be part of a fast-paced collaborative team resolving complex challenges in a global environment. This position delivers key strategies for procuring high technology materials, equipment, and/or services in accordance with supply chain optimization and management objectives and provides planning, procurement, and inventory management expertise on behalf of Keysight's Services and Solutions Organization. Furthermore, this position will provide strategic support for material sourcing for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, in collaboration with multiple organizations. They will establish and manage strategic supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts/prices/ and monitoring supplier performance. This position will work closely to manage contract manufacturer (CM) or original design manufacturer (ODM) relationships to ensure inventory optimization, and may contribute to, or lead, process improvement efforts, such as in NPI, resourcing, cost reduction and/or quality.
You are a good match for this role if you have a high level of expertise with specialized knowledge in the areas of Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Supply Chain Management. You should have both skill and functional breadth and depth within supply chain and/or operations. You should also be a strong negotiator with a demonstrated experience and track record of supply chain and supplier contract negotiation experience, delivering superior business results. You should also be able to provide technical leadership and have the ability to design Supply Chain solutions to meet business needs. Ideally, you should be highly collaborative with the ability to forge strong partnerships with the Regional Repair/Calibration Operations, Product Divisions and Trade Parts Business teams. You should have successful experience with global trade and logistics, strategic sourcing, supplier management, driving savings while working effectively in a distributed, multi-regional team.
