Overview

We are seeking to hire a Director of Operations to manage all aspects of our Critical Infrastructure program. The Manager will focus on project execution from bid through site completion.The Manager will work with high profile clients and practical implementation of Critical Infrastructure solutions. In addition, the Manager will work to advise on assessment of readiness and upcoming developments while helping identify the implementation of cost-effective mitigations. The role will entail managing estimating, multiple projects, internal and external resources and timelines.

What Will You Do

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operations management of the West Coast Critical Infrastructure services.Project management of the delivery of client projects, ensuring a professional relationship and the effective delivery of sustainability services to time and budget

  • Building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversight of team members in the development and delivery of projects
  • Working in a rigorous manner to deliver accurate, high quality, engaging and client-ready outputs
  • Supporting the professional development of junior colleagues, including line management opportunities
  • Responsible for P&L of the west division line of business
  • Responsible for overseeing construction operations of installations

What You Will Need

  • 10+ years of CI industry experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing CI services
  • Exceptional project management experience
  • Experience working with multiple OEMs
  • Experience with end user customers on installation projects
  • Experience with utility companies, specifically power utilities
  • Strong experience with construction operations on installation projects
  • Proven success with developing and implementing ambitious business improvement and implementation strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills – MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Required Education and Experience:

  • Relevant academic degree and/or master or equivalent work experience – science, technology and engineering with significant exposure to commercial decision making

Physical Demands:

The employee may drive for extended periods of time. The employee must also occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is full-time exempt position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Some evenings / weekends required.

Travel:

  • Travel 50%
  • Travel to other markets as needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.

Salary 120,000-135,000
