Title: Vendor Oversight Manager- Contract

Location: San Francisco, CA

Status: Onsite in San Francisco, 4 days a week

Duration: 6-12 month contract

The Vendor Oversight Manager Contractor is responsible for developing and executing Vendor Governance Oversight process and strategies within Clinical Development Operations, considering vendor performance and business risk. The candidate will interact with both internal stakeholders and external vendors, playing a critical role in vendor oversight while ensuring compliance with applicable global regulations.

Daily Duties will include:

• In partnership with internal stakeholders, develop a Vendor Governance Oversight program for Clinical Development Operations along with overall management of program/processes
• Provide monthly and quarterly reporting to measure vendor metrics and distribute to appropriate stakeholders
• Ensure vendor compliance and performance meet established standards and work with vendors and applicable internal stakeholders on mitigation activities, as applicable
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure that contractual obligations are met
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that vendor relationships align with business objectives
• Oversee vendor selection, due diligence oversight, and maintenance of vendor relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of experience working in clinical research and at least 2 years working in a pharma start-up environment
